Ed Sheeran- narrative case study- EDITED AS OF 28/03/17

Ed Sheeran's music video for the a team is an example of circular narrative which allows for the story to be developed. The video also uses flashbacks to allow for the audience to see the context of the story that is within the music video. The lyrics and visuals also link to each other which conforms to part of Goodwin's Theory. As well as this the artist's original idea for the video which for Ed Sheeran's A team is homelessness and the effects of being homeless can be conveyed through the visuals and the lyrics.

    Well done for carefully exploring the narrative of the video by referring to specific moments. Targets: 1. Remember to refer to narrative theory. 2. What do the differences between the first and last shot tell us about the character's development / change or lack thereof?
